I-79 at the I-77/I-79 split in West Virginia.  Again going back to my first digital camera.  August 9, 1999.

I won't bother with any of my boring US 79s.  Instead, here's a Texas 79 in Wichita Falls.  August 31, 2003.

And for New York 79, and exit number=route number case on New York 17.  June 17, 2006.

Crawford County 79 in Knoxville, GA:

Normally, this type of Georgia "county road" sign is mounted on the back of a stop sign; they are not used for any sort of reassurance or as trailblazers (that said, there probably is an exception out there in the field).

What's with the shield being on a yellow background? That's strange.

Now, onto the abundance of Interstate 35 and 80 shields at the junction with Iowa 415 - picture taken today, just for this thread :D

Let's start by getting a little lucky in Kentucky... KY 80 westbound at US 127.

FL 80 at US 27.

This shield is no longer there. Suffolk CR 80 eastbound end in Southampton, NY. Photo taken 2002.
