Well, this isn't totally about highways, but I didn't know the Pentagon was recently turned into a shopping mall! :spin:

Look at all the businesses that seem to have stores in the Pentagon! :pan:

I can't confirm all of those places, but at least some are correct: http://pentagon.osd.mil/concessions.html

Hmmm, you learn something new every day!

Florida's Turnpike is completely missing at low zooms. Must be overreliance on networks (Interstate/US).

Google's extended I-290 in IL above I-90 along IL-53.

On a semi-related note: The software which WVIT-TV (NBC) channel 30 of New Britain, CT (Hartford/New Haven market) uses is funny. If you zoom their weather radar enough, Connecticut Route 11 between its start in Colchester southward to Salem, CT will show up as both state route 11 and Interstate 11! Weird! :D

So is the Suncoast Parkway-Veterans shows up, though...

I shouldn't find that as amusing as I do.

Reminds me of TIGER's conversion of County Road into Cord or Creek.

According to Wikipedia -- which I'll trust in this instance since a) it's cited, and b) it jives with what little I know about Maryland's system -- 7J does exist as an unsigned reference route type deal, although Google is slightly off on it's location.  It's the road to the ramp highlighted here.

Here's something crazy.  Google thinks that the Elevated Toll Lanes of I-95 in Miami are the mainline lanes at Exit #12.... :banghead:

Apparently there is a Business I-35E in Pearsall, Texas–but, to be fair, I-35E is only 266 miles away.   :eyebrow:

That's TXDOT's method of identifying their business routes. Here's 35-H (and SH 46-C):

does the general motoring public ever pay attention to the business route letter?  I have not ever heard of someone saying "take business IH-35F" but I am not all that often in Texas.

Very doubtful. But it's not really an error on Google's part, just a quirk.

I would disagree with you.  I've never considered the serial letter to be part of the route's numerical designation.  therefore, I think that google should show the route as it is colloquially known - especially in the case of Texas, where there is a legitimate I-35E, as well as the fifth business loop of I-35.

If it were simply Google using the official suffix, then that's not consistent either.  Business I-35 through Dilley is signed correctly, no suffix.
