1941 Lanes Bridge Renovations (Old CA 41)

Decided to go finally see what was up with the Lanes Bridge being repaired over the San Joaquin River.  Turns out Caltrans is actually fixing the old crossing 41 used to take over the San Joaquin River before it was a freeway:

Visited the 1889 Lanes Bridge location on Lanes Drive off of Friant Road today.  This is what the view from the southern bridge approach looks like today:

I'm planning on doing some updates to the older Fresno highway series.  What I find interesting about the 1889 Lanes Bridge is that the original much of what was CA 41 has long been razed or is now part of a bike trail.  I prepared the two maps below to show the differences in alignments of CA 41 on the variations of the Lanes Bridges:
