I-490/I-390/NY 390/NY 31 interchange

Yeah, I wish the use of control cities would spread to the I-490/I-590/NY 590 junction, particularly on I-490 where there are no control cities for 590.

Rochester/Buffalo/Airport/Greece were in use on the previous signs at this junction, but I'm not sure about before that.

Those countrol cities have been there for quite a while.  At least two generations of signage back.

I must have been mixing it up with the Can of Worms, which has little in the way of control cities. The same with some of the signs for the 590/104 interchange.
