How will I do in one thread? I talk about a lot of signs, renumberings, and markings. Maybe there should be a free for all board where you can talk about anything?

You could start a thread called "Compilation: tolbs17 in one thread" (like I suggested before), and that's your dedicated thread for everything you want to talk about. Fictional would work for which section to post the thread in.

I used to be obsessed with renumberings when I was younger, but now, not so much. I pretty much talk about all kind of things and only do some renumbering if I see people want to really renumber this interstate, Ex, I-99, I-74, I-238, etc.

Keep in mind that the first compilation thread was not created by the user it was for (I created it, and it was for FritzOwl). I've had somewhat of a compilation thread in "single ideas that are not enough for their own thread", but while I had a lot of ideas, it was nowhere near exclusively mine.

The compilation thread idea for Fritz kind of back fired and just encouraged others to do the same for their zany ideas.  There used to be some legitimately decent fictional threads but they largely were pushed to the wayside by satirical stuff.

planxtymcgillicuddy used to have a lot of threads on a single page so did I but I guess we don't really make new friends anymore, I try to just bunk into someone elses that have good content to avoid need for making a new thread.

No way to change timestamps on a post without SQL access, and if I'm going to write code it's going to be for something more fun than that.

If I were you tolbs, I would rename the Strange overhead signs thread to either "Compilation: tolbs17 in one thread" or "The tolbs17 thread" or "tolbs17 talks about signs" or something. That way, we kind of know what to expect when we click on the thread.

Well, it turns out that there is already this and this thread that I post in mostly, so I guess they fit into the discussion of my questions; even if they are minor.

Brings up another question.  We've all seen threads on regular boards that get locked/ no responses/ that get moved into the Fictional board.  Has there ever been a thread started in Fictional that the moderators closed and moved to one of the other boards?  I could foresee a Fictional thread possibly straying into Off-Topic, but I couldn't imagine a Fictional thread straying into one of the regional boards.
