FDOT District 6 appears to have added a whole bunch of state routes to the books according to the Straight Line Diagrams and they're pretty much all frontage roads.

SR 7F (87140352) Frontage road from 199th to 193rd
SR 25F (87090002) Frontage road in unincorporated Miami-Dade from 170th to 178th
SR 25F (87090005) Frontage road in Hialeah Gardens from SR 939 to 87th
SR 826F (87260525-33, 36, 87260600) 17th Ave to 67th Ave (WB) and Miami Lakes Drive (EB).
SR 856F (87210101, 87210102) Frontage loop with access to Country Club Drive.

I think that's actually pretty neat.  It's funded by Cavenue, not taxes, and regular cars can still use the lane (except for dedicated testing times, which, as noted in the video, only happens when the loss of the third lane isn't an issue).  It's also now a unique little stretch of freeway which is cool to see.

It's still less versatile, though, since you can't just move into that lane to pass people.  It's basically a separate one-lane carriageway, so you're stuck behind whoever the slowest driver in it is.

Also, ADOT has further finalized plans for the completion of the Loop 303/I-17 interchange, and is waiting on funding. Prop 479 (a continuation of the Transportation tax going back to 1985 that's funded basically the entire Phoenix freeway system). will be on the November ballot and will be the main source of funding if it passes (and I hope like hell the voters don't screw this up). I would presume that the SR 30 Tres Rios freeway will also be dependent on Prop 479 passing, so I'd strongly suggest making sure people are properly educated about that Prop so the groups that cry about every penny possible don't misinform people and kill what's funded everything we've got so far.

They seem to be trying to work their way around the Valley ripping up all the rubberized asphalt that's falling apart. Hoping before too long they'll have it all gone and we'll be back to concrete the way the Highway Gods intended.

There are quite a few other "Terminal Way" designations in other parts of the country, chiefly near airports or other cargo-handling places.
