Title: NM: Route 66 Adds Singing Road as Speeding Deterrent

There's a video of it in action at that link above.  It's pretty neat, though it seems that they lower the speed limit right where this is happening from 55mph > 45mph just for the distance of this as I did see a 55mph sign in the background (unless it hadn't been 'updated' when they shot the video).

If I heard a road singing, I would really wonder what was happening, and maybe think I was dreaming. (Look at the title of the thread.)

The term "singing" was used correctly. It certainly isn't a signing road.

:coffee: Recent article about this road section in the Smithsonian Magazine. Still shouldn't be called "singing". "Skat"?

(There should be an emoticon to use when resurrecting an old thread. Trying to establish coffee mug for this purpose. Why not?)
