Hi all,

I've been perusing AARoads Forum for quite some time and figured I should make an account. I've been a road geek since the young age of 7 and am probably even more of one today. Looking forward to some great conversations on the forum!

Welcome from Dalton, Georgia!

I must tell ya, I really love your avatar on here (a state-named Michigan Interstate Highway shield with the shape of the state of Michigan inside (including both LP and UP).

I am looking forward to seeing your posts and contributions, and I will see you around on the forum!

Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

Welcome to the forum from Upstate NY
I also noticed, and am a big fan of, your avatar. It's certainly one of the more unique ones I've seen!

Upstate NY is enjoying crystal clear, starlit skies right now (since mentioning your weather in your welcome message seems to be the thing to do around here - I have no idea why, but it's definitely a "thing" :sombrero:)

Welcome to the boards from the Natural State of Arkansas!

Are you with the NWS by chance?

Hope to see you around!
Well, that's just like your opinion man...

I'm currently a college student pursuing a meteorology degree. Perhaps one day, though!

I hear they intern, and all you have to do is be enrolled in a meteorological based program. (paraphrased of course!), just some food for thought. The reason I say this is because I have been to the NWS office in North Little Rock on a shadow day.

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I was a roadgeek starting from a similar age.  I was drawing out my own ideas for roadway networks and geometry since I was 5 or 6.  I haven't given up my penchant for doing that, either!  (Especially when Cities: Skylines exists.)  Welcome to the forum!
Avatar is the last interesting highway I clinched.
