Alabama 80 shields on US 80, found west of Selma:

Louisiana doesn't screw this up very often. And usually it's in the downgrade direction. But then again, DOTD is rather lazy.

Pennsylvania is probably the biggest offender in this regard, because internally all routes are SR xxxx even if they're US routes or Interstates.

This PA-1  shield has been replaced with another PA-1  shield (for US-1): https://www.google.com/maps/@40.0137428,-75.1775044,3a,48.3y,354.56h,66.81t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s5xG4-hTNJvz4ifqNixl8NQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

You'll find a lot of PA-202  shields for US-202, especially in Norristown: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.1438072,-75.3158027,3a,17.6y,144.62h,85.12t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJfeI3pWY-ehmAGAjM7DRSw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

I swear I saw a PA-13 shield for US-13, but I can't remember where.

PA-34, oddly, got an upgrade in Gettysburg: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8299828,-77.2311482,3a,34.6y,23.85h,87.68t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sD1woFI7Q5ug4Nq4TyjtnUA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

The shields themselves look to be okay, so I wonder if they just replaced the post and used the same shields on the new post.

Ohio would be a close runner-up.

Two goofs in Fredonia, KY, for US641:

(You'll notice the "Q" tag I put at the end of my coded filenames, for "questionable signage".)

A couple of U.S. 17C trailblazers along River Road and Argonne Avenue in Endwell, NY, near the Southern Tier Expressway (I-86/NY 17). Alex spotted the one in the first link below as we were traveling west from Binghamton on our recent trip to the Northeast. Unfortunately, we didn't take any extra time to double back and photograph it, so using GSV instead.....

While looking for the location of the first one, I found this second trailblazer nearby:

Both have been up since at least May 2012.

Two more from different routes, but I don't have the photos on me right now...

NYSDOT has really dropped the ball on this over the past decade or so. We probably don't have enough storage space to capture all the incorrect markers in the state, and it seems to be all upstate regions.

A few from my February Utah trip.

US 243 should be Utah 243 entering Beaver Mountain.  February 7, 2023.

Two US 79s that should be Utah 79s on US 89 in Ogden.  February 8, 2023.

Cross-posted from the "Ohio" thread so that people who don't follow regional threads outside their area can see it. US 674.

Surprisingly, the contractor erecting signs for construction on the Van Wyck made mostly accurate replicas of the former BGSs that were up on this overpass.

However, he missed the mark on this one sign (which I only noticed today because I was stuck in traffic), and a) created the highest numbered US Highway, and b) somehow managed to put the 878 numbers in the one NYC shield (aka no pentagons) that wouldn't apply to the highway.

He also moved US-27 several hundred miles to the east.
