For anyone that uses Travel Mapping, this should be quite easy. There's a page of routes traveled by number, just start from the bottom to identify the highest duplicate, then apply the rules of this thread.

Here's mine: https://travelmapping.net/user/routesbynumber.php?units=miles&u=webny99&

A-505 toward Cambridge and I-505 in northern California comes to mind

EDIT: SR 794 in Connecticut and I-794

I-55

Off the top of my head it would be I-475 (OH, GA) and MS-475 (Airport Rd).

Regardless, they're both part of the Lewis And Clark Trail; I'd consider both highways 1806 related but I guess it's up to you.

Lots of highways in the Dakotas are marked as "Lewis and Clark Trail", including some not part of 1804 and 1806. Part of ND 25, for example, is signed as "Lewis and Clark Trail".

Mine is 528. I've been on the associated Florida state route and the FM road.

Okay, I checked a little more, and I'm actually at least at 280:  I-280 in California, and US 280 on its overlap with I-85 in Alabama.

Off the top of my head it's 405 (I-405 in California and I-405 in Oregon)
Edit: It's 580 (I-580 in California and I-580 in Nevada)

^OP said those are related routes. (Even though they have nothing to do with each other, I don't understand your reasoning here roadman.)

Probably I-880 in Iowa and California. If the two routes have to be different types, maybe I-696 and OH-696.

What is the highest route number where you have been on two distinct routes?

Do not count two segments of the same route number (both I-88s), or related routes (I-794/WI 794, US 6/BUS US 6, IL 64/IA 64)

Mine is 524, with IN 524 and KY 524.

I've definitely been on Both Georgia State and Ontario Provincial Routes 400 as well as US- and I- 395.. I'm scouring my travelogues for higher numbers.

Highest I can think of off the top of my mind is 270 (I-270 MO-IL, OH and MD, and US 270).

There's probably a higher one for me, but I need to take a look at small routes.
Actually going to cheat here a bit with an unsigned route: ON 407 and GA 407 (I-285)

CNGL-Leudimin

It has to be at least 552 for me. I still have to finish checking the mess that is Spanish road numbering. I keep looking, and find even higher examples.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

US 441 and WI 441.

It's possible that there's some overlap with random state route numbers out of Maryland, Florida, and Kentucky, but none come to mind immediately.

Looks like 520 is your answer, excluding any Florida county routes that may overlap.

Based on TM, my answer is 540. I've been on short stretches of GA 540 in Macon and OH 540 in Bellefontaine (to visit Campbell Hill). I've also been on ON 540 (not yet added to TM).

From a quick TM check: 599 (WA and NV). For those without my home state, it's 582 (OH and NV).
