The first: An "is and is not" (or "has and has not", or similar) joke from 2011, proving that it predates Alanland. I know I found it once, but I can't find it anymore, even with a date-restricted and site-restricted Google search.
The second:
agentsteel53: I'm not that keen on where New England Routes [forget which numbers] meet.
Me: Was that joke intentional?
agentsteel53: I wish it was.
(While at least three numbers were mentioned, two of them met in Keene, NH.)
Is and is not this for real?
The second thread, if it still exists, could be found through your own post history.

It's hard to know what qualifies as a "joke", but I found this, below. It may or may not be () what you're thinking of.

Okay, I suppose it both is and isn't an error in that case. :p

and unless one is very visually keen
Was that pun intended?
ha. I wish it were. didn't even think about exactly where 10 and 12 cross.
Thank you for finding the "keen" thread! I'm not sure if the first one I'm looking for is what I found before, but if it is, I was misremembering the year (the post is from 2009, not 2011).
I just happened to stumble upon some more evidence (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=3243.msg71815#msg71815) that the "is/is not" joke predates Alanland.
Also not from 2011 (August 2010).
