Nice job. I know the feeling. I have all these photos I need to write up and post. I did get US 6 posted up through Nebraska.

Alps

While we're all quarantined in front of our computers, let's check out some ROAD PHOTOS! Have a g'day, mates, and feast your eyes on over 2,000 photos (I counted - definitely largest update ever!) from all but one of Australia's states and mainland territories. (I'll get to WA.) I'm excited to get to Australia's Non-Roads next and keep the update train on the railway.

Speaking of that acronym .... did you ever upload those pics from our meetup in Oct 2016? When we got a tour of the viaduct.

Hahahahahahaha I'm still in 2013.

Speaking of being in 2013:
UPDATE
First installment of Australia Non-Roads has been posted. Check out ACT, NT, and SA as I get to work on the remaining states one at a time. Hopefully this gives you a diversion for a little while as you "work from home."

That was when we had the Huntington/Ashland meet!
Might as well face it, pooing is cool

Speaking of backlogs, we're (meaning I'm) working nonstop to push out more (999-pixel wide) quality photos! After just one week, tonight's update is over 800 photos of Queensland Non-Roads. Take a peep, and if you know your QLD mountains, feel free to offer up some corrections or additions. Enjoy your ride through the opposite end of the world at a time when everything in the world seems opposite. Next up, some NSW goodness, as the update train rolls on.

Alps

This is NOT an April Fool's joke. I have updated my site yet again! Feast on over 900 photos from New South Wales!

Looks like it. I see the NSW page now.

Speaking of "looks like it," I couldn't hit the midnight deadline, but I did get another state uploaded tonight. Every time it's more photos, isn't it! So take a trip through Victoria and spend at least 30% of your time in Melbourne, because that's the number of photos I have there plus how long it took me to sort through them and edit them. https://www.alpsroads.net/www/vic

With a mighty heave, I have completed all updates of The Land Down Under. You have no idea how difficult this was and how much it means to me to finally have uploaded all of the photos from this momentous 3-week trip. Come visit the non-roads of Tasmania and learn about its history and scenery. Then for a special treat, come check out my interview in 2 hours (18:00 Eastern, 17:00 Central, 15:00 Pacific, 8:00 Australian EST) on roadwaywiz's Youtube channel.

I see you found that beat-up NH 1 trailblazer near B52. We spotted that as well. At least one white one lurks in Burnie.

Nú, chexw men wa ha7lh? Well you'll be doing even better when you check out my new Canadian update with 1,700 photos from a part of the country I sorely needed to grow in coverage. Check out Northwest Territories road signs! Find the totem pole! It's all at https://www.alpsroads.net/roads/ .

The second half of the Great Northwest Trip in 2013 has been posted, featuring mostly content on this side of the border in states I really needed better coverage in. Peep, weep, and ogle-beep at https://www.alpsroads.net/roads .

For the first time in years, I've added road meets as part of an update. That's so weird to think about. The latest update features the 2013 Ashland (Tri-State) and Pikeville (Corridor Q) meets as part of a KY/OH/WV package. Check it out: https://www.alpsroads.net/roads

Enjoyed the pictures and the narrative; it's always good to see an outsider's perspective on your familiar area.

I think those were both your meets. 2 in one year, similar area. It was interesting to relive that. Plus the infamous Tim Brown/Bunker Blast special that was Ashland.

Yep, they were mine, and I'm familiar with most all the routes you traveled to and from the meets. I didn't realize you'd gotten ill while at the Ashland meet. Same thing happened to you at Indiana a few years prior.

Looking at the VA US 52 page, I had down that US 221 was now in a concurrency with US 58 BUS.  However, US 58 BUS for Hillsville is not in the 2019 Traffic Data for Carroll County.
I am now a PennDOT employee.  My opinions/views do not necessarily reflect the opinions/views of PennDOT.

Odd. I can't remember if signage has been updated along old 58 in Hillsville, but as the Google Maps link you shared indicated, Business 58 is definitely signed as you approach downtown and the start of the new bypass from the west. I think it's also signed at the eastern end of the bypass, but I don't think I have any photos, having traveled through downtown to get clinches of both VA 100 and US 221 within Virginia.

I had meant that as in "not US 58 anymore," but worth a clarification.

One last update for June. Today I feature the 2012 Doylestown meet, PA 378 Hill to Hill Bridge, abandoned PA 402 Marshalls Creek bypass, a ton of old US 22 alignments, and some stuff not even in Pennsylvania. This is the last update for a little while as some personal matters get tended to, but stay tuned and I'll be back before long! As always, comments, suggestions, corrections, and general praise are welcomed.

A lot going on in life, found a few hundred extra photos that I had to include, but here is another update! Tonight's highlights are the 2013 Lebanon, NH "TomTom Meet" and a lot of bridges: Brandywine Park in Delaware, Deer Isle on ME 15, Camelback on Michigan US 12, General Sullivan on NH 16, downtown Cleveland. Bip your beeper to https://www.alpsroads.net/roads and enjoy!
