Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Newton  -> New Haven

Aside from not helping (we really need ending letters other than "e" or "n"), it's not allowed in rule 9 of the OP ("No GSV. GSV is of the devil.").

My own inventory is pretty depleted, but can still play a G____, K___, M____, V___, or W____. Others have more options. I can also do another dive into other people's photos of the small towns of the West, though the pickings are starting to look a little slim there too.

Tempting fate here with the "e"s, but this one's too good to pass up.

This is the first YT 1 signage on the westbound Alaska Highway, about where Yukon Territory takes over maintenance of the highway from British Columbia, after several zigzags into and out of the Yukon.

Sounds like something Nabisco should make.

Hate to be the wet blanket here, since more N____s help keep things moving. But Newton was played, and responded to, yesterday about halfway up this page (which is why jbnv's sign with Newton on it -- and his musing about maybe later pulling out a Natchez -- is in a quote), with with several more posts following. The most recent city played is Watson Lake, so we need an E____ to follow that.
