The time for these jokes is over, unless we want to get in treble. I would only rate them 2/4.. or 6/8?

I'm on the line about whether to lock this thread... I'm quavering.

That would end things on a low note.

Boy, this whole thread is a scherzo.  Can we get at least get 440 posts out of it so we're all in tune with each other?

In that case, I suggest a thread merge with this one.

Just wait a little bit longer and you'll be perfect.

BOO!!

Lol, I took a long break from AARoads. I took a break for just me to cool off and get my temper under control. Haha :)

Anyway, I have plenty of links about music in this thread here:

https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=26135.0

I may add more to it

Anyways, I'm gone. I will reappear when i feel like it

Maybe not. There's a rule against announcing that you're leaving. Technically, it specifies creating a thread announcing that you're leaving, but it's pretty much the same thing.

As for the original question asked, do we really get more sports threads than music threads, that sports merits its own sub-board?

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

webny99

I think sports not only has more potential for discussion, but is also more specific than "Music", as a board of its own.

The Washington DC subway should hire some Oompa-Loompa types to help keep the trains on a regular schedule...some Metrognomes perhaps

Pitch that idea to Alps.

There are other members of the staff, you know. Alps is a global mod so making new boards is not exactly his forte anyway.

I mentioned him because he had previously posted in this thread, so I thought maybe it was a solo thing.

He did tune in when the idea for the "Urban Design and Planning" board came up, and made that one happen.

We had to have some kind of bass expectation, though.
