Sigh, more of the asinine thinking that somehow increasing fines brings in more revenue without thinking of what happens should the number of violations sharply decline. :banghead: They're probably the same people who want to think increased taxes bring in more revenue instead of actually driving off more taxpayers.

Exactly, rawmustard, agentsteel53 noted in another thread that in a recent trip to Europe he slowed down to a ridiculously low speed limit because he'd heard the fine was 3000 Euros.

^^ Some countries have fines based on personal income. If you make a million a year, a 100 dollar fine is nothing, if you're on social benefits, it's a lot.
