This circular Mountain Parkway sign still kicks in Beattyville, KY. Not sure how many of these are left but some previous discussion indicates no more than four. Wasn't sure what topic to post this in, but it's an old sign, so it fits.

People were basically like oh crap because they were scrambling to make the right turn onto 16 right at the end of the curve. In general, the old 16 routing was just a mess of zig-zag turns through the city. Many of the old buildings downtown got torn down for the University as seen on GSV. The Historic Aerials website also does a good job showing where the old routes used to go under the topos tab.

"Fakebook"?
If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use them.

^^^^Good evidence that older signs are not necessarily better.

This rare Utah button‐copy Rest Area wayfinder is still standing. This at I-70.Exit 86: https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/GwRbxmUtM9wN Like the rest area itself, it has probably remained untouched since the 80s.
