Just kidding with the subject, but it made you look!
Back in February I posted that OR 103 has been erroneously posted as US 103. The wrong shields were still around when I passed through there late summer, but today I noticed they had been corrected. A couple before-and-afters:

They also fixed the nearby US 202's.
So thus ends the short life of US 103. We barely knew ya.

I notice the OR-103 shields have a white border that I have never seen on any other state route shield. Is that new, or another error?

There are a few around Oregon, but they're not common. Here's a couple more examples:

Yeah, have never seen that, not in Oregon or even in most states. I'm curious when those first started appearing.
