Wasn't sure if this should go in Damaged or Vandalized, so I put it in both.

This is a KY 37 marker in the Forkland community of Boyle County.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Lucky find in Street View...I-5 Express Lanes, northbound near Northgate (north of Seattle):

MA 12, southbound (in reality east) in Ashburnham used to have a moose sign. Someone affixed a large sticker of Rocky the Squirrel next to the moose. Rocky almost looked like he was talking to it. The sign disappeared a few years back, with the 2 metal posts still there holding up nothing.

Never did get a pic of it, which is a shame.

Are the signs really that bad?  It would be extremely difficult to read those signs.

Yeah they tagged them up a lot, I think there was more but they were not posted. These were all done in the 90's.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

Is it me or are the balls way too small for the dimensions. The left one on the left sign

I suppose it depends on how well endowed one is.

On I-75:

And here's some back story on this one: http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2014/11/24/7277277/ohio-state-michigan-covering-every-m-on-campus

But was it even necessary to do it on a state welcome sign off of I-75?

And wouldn't the sign on US 23 make more sense? That is the road that directly connects Columbus and Ann Arbor.

-  I guess for Ohio State fans in the Toledo area, it's a lot easier to do it at the border than down in the Columbus area.

-  Last I saw, the Welcome to Michigan sign was on an overhead in the median, although you could do it to "onroe county":

This one has been this way for several months now; I just now have been able to take a picture of it:

Really sad to see this sign like this. :-( Google Streetview's imagery is only a year old, and it's easy to see how much vandalism has occurred on this sign in one year.

The replacement will probably look like this, if they decide to replace it. I'm not a fan of Clearview numerals.

Yes, I know the arrow is wrong, couldn't find the right one for the job due to my lack of arrows.

Taken down already.  Not a terrible job on the color or font by the pranksters.  Story at http://www.pennlive.com/nation-world/2014/12/nj_prankster_alters_highway_ex.html

Looks like someone did their research.  Looks like 16'' letter height and Series EM. It wasn't done in Arial or anything else like that.

Props
