Also, NJ Transit has announced that due to the construction, anyone who wants to take trains will not have to pay a fare to get on at the west of Dover stations (Hackettstown, Mount Olive, Netcong–Stanhope, Lake Hopatcong and Mount Arlington) and on the way back would only pay a one-way fare, in effect leading to a 50% discount for commuters affected by Interstate 80 and the 275-year old mine.
