Title: Minn US 75
Post by: Alex on May 21, 2017, 01:17:10 PM
Anyone know where a remaining US 75 shield with "MINN" written within it is still standing?

I seriously doubt there are any left. I drove the route from the Iowa border all the way to Crookston several summers ago and didn't see any, but I guess that's by no means a complete observation.

Jake says there is one out there but does not know where it's exact location is. Told him I'd inquire here, but if no one knows, he is going to scope out the route from I-94 to Pembina for a shot to find it.

I doubt there are any along US 75 proper.  You'd probably have to look at one of the side roads.

I found it...

While searching around I also found a shield-less US 59 marker:

^ Possibly dates to when US 59 met US 75 in Humboldt instead of going due north to the Canadian border.  That hasn't been the case since ca. 1955.
