This one in Newark, NJ along an industrial access road near the NJ Turnpike. It has signal heads with visors falling off, but the mast arms are positioned where there once was another road crossing under the turnpike that no longer exists.

Abandoned 4-way at Bethany, MO
There are these abandoned traffic lights near a high school in Detroit, Michigan. The lot they're on was once a driver's training course.

This (now long gone) assembly, to my knowledge, was never in operation. End of US 6 in Provincetown, MA, circa 1998.
Probably not enough beach traffic to warrant it being turned on.

On a 2014 trip to New Orleans, I remember seeing some in the section hardest hit by Katrina (Lower 9th Ward).
Here's one in Providence RI. Providence didn't really strike me as a poor or run-down area so I was kind of surprised to find this abandoned signal downtown.

The warrants for traffic signals are based on traffic flow. Given the very narrow streets and likely reduced traffic in downtowns because of WFH, it likely no longer meets the warrants so it wsa converted to an all way stop.

Adding: If you look at street view from 2019, you can see that they were flashing then. It has been an all-way stop as far back as street view goes (2007).
If now dark, that is no good--at the right angles, the un-visored overhead green appears brighter even though it is off because it has no visor. They ought to either take them down or make sure they flash.

If it is as long-term a conversion to all-way stop as it is (over 15 years), then the bags may not last long enough through the New England winters (or a hurricane)! :P
Lakeland, Florida is getting rid of a lot of them and replacing them with 4-way stop signs. I'm worried they might overdo it.

I remember those were in flash mode for a very long time. Guessing the power to them must've finally been shut-off.
