Cold front coming through.  I told my wife yesterday that it was going to be 58°F when I left for work in the morning and 34°F with rain when I came home today.

I just heard that it was 62°F at the airport and 42°F at the news station–at the same time.

March plays games with my mood.  We had snow flurries the other day, and now it's 73°F with a forecast high of 81°F.

Actually had some thunder this morning, but the below average March continues with another shot of snow Friday night/Sat here. Very roller coaster type pattern with our warmups only getting back to average for this time of year.
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

Yesterday's rain and several days above zero have caused a lot of the snow to melt. At this point, it's mainly snowbanks and shaded spots where the snow is holding on for now. I even heard some birds this morning when I woke up for the first time this year!

Today will be a mix of sun and clouds and high of 7C/45F. Tomorrow's weather is less nice but more eventful:
Quote from: Weather.gc.caFreezing rain changing to a few rain showers in the morning. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Rainfall amount 10 to 20 mm. Wind east 30 km/h gusting to 60 becoming southeast 50 gusting to 80 in the afternoon. High 6. Wind chill minus 8 in the morning. UV index 3 or moderate.

Even as it just sleeted/snowed for a min, actually going chasing today along the I-80 corridor in northern Illinois. Cold core setup is looking quite prevalent on model runs right along the warm front.

Yesterday I was driving from Saginaw to Lansing and back to St. Charles. Well I was on my way it was raining for the first half of the trip then starts turning to sleet and snow as I'm getting closer to Lansing. Get in Lansing and nothing is going on as far as rain, sleet or snow.

Anyway, it's currently 46 feels like 42 and sunny in Saginaw. Going up to a high of 49.

No luck on the chase yesterday, couple downpours of pea size hail but was too cold and moisture starved for things to really get going.
