Oklahoma "END of ROUTE" - control city

I read (on a discussion on here about control cities) that Oklahoma has been known to use "END OF ROUTE" as a control city, so to speak, when the route doesn't have another good option for an ending control city (if the route doesn't end at a town or another route, I think).

Does anyone know where any of these signs can be found? Google Streetview or pictures would be awesome!

Thanks!

SH-4 in Piedmont has an example. I don't know of any instances where they've used it as a destination, only on mileage signs like this.

This one is mildly amusing because it's meant to be read "END OF ROUTE–4 (miles)", but it's also Route 4 that's ending (though Oklahoma never uses the word "Route" in reference to their highways in any context other than "END OF ROUTE".)

That's exactly it - thanks so much! Are these pretty common on mileage signs in OK?

I wouldn't call them super common, since most routes end at a city or route junction. But I have seen them more than once.

I would guess that OK97 north of Sand Springs would have one.  I've been collecting OK State ends and haven't seen one before. Gonna have to drive out to Piedmont and get a photo (and pay more attention to the mileage signs).
When you come to a fork in the road... TAKE IT.
