The new numbers are as of July 2010, three months after the official census was taken.

I'm rather suspicious how these estimates are collected. For instance, did Maricopa County, AZ really have a net gain of nearly 11K in three months? Or 2K added to Arlington County, VA?

You can see all the other counties in the link above.

Between April 1, 2000, and April 1, 2010, Maricopa County grew at an average rate of 6,208 people per month, so 11,000 in three months is actually below the average pace of the previous decade.

:-o What a really long list! My eyes is blinking and can't find where my county is at. Ok, I copypasted for you to read Riverside county Cal. from left in 1996 to right by 2009. The county I'm in gained about 750,000 residents in the last 13 years. A large proportion is from suburban Orange County/ L.A. area, an endless wave of newcomers from other states and foreign-born immigration forms a good share of the county, where about 40-45% of the population are Latinos. In the current rate, I predict about 2.8 million residents live in Riverside county by the year 2026, except the winter residence phenomena in the Palm Springs-Palm Desert area at about 450-550,000 could made the so-called projection a reality in the start of the new year (January 1st).
