Regarding the CT 198 / US 6 assembly, which is on a town road south of where CT 198 starts:

The 1965 aerial photo (zoom in and pan to 6/198 intersection) shows the earlier configuration: a high-speed wye intersection, much like the US 44/202 split in Canton. In the redesign, Bear Hill Road no longer connects to US 6, and Chewink Road was realigned to intersect US 6 across from CT 198.

Wait why didn't they keep that, that kinda looks cool, and makes US 6 a bit more interesting in my area.
