Roads with pavement marking tests

In the Charlotte area around the airport there's a few unused roads that they seemed to have used to test whatever they use to make the runway markings with:

Any other situations like this? Road markings are also applicable.
I love my 2010 Ford Explorer.

Over the years, there have been several on I-64 in the vicinity of Frankfort.


Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Vancouver, Washington.  501 Spur, state highway, and urban dumping ground.
