Is US 1 & 9 between Elizabeth and Newark a Freeway?

This one is tough as the highways has four carrageways from North Avenue in Elizabeth and the Pulaski Skyway in Newark.  From US 22 to the Skyway it is no doubt a freeway, but south of US 22 into Elizabeth the southbound local lanes has business driveways including an Anheiser Busch Brewery and some EWR Rental car outlets.  All the rest of the carriageways are up to freeway standards.

What would you say.  A Jersey Freeway like NJ 3 is or full freeway being that SB US 1 & 9 do have an express lane with controlled acccess along with all NB Lanes being access limited?
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Yes, except for the southbound local lanes. Just like NJ 3's local-express portion is a freeway only on the express lanes.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

Yes, there is.  The outer carriageways can be called Frontage Roads like inTexas.
