Someone make the list of numbers that are images and not links. Start with those numbers.
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Grzrd

Why not start a new thread that expressly forbids the use of GSV and screenshots?

Otherwise, delete all of my numbers because I used GSV screenshots.

This game is sort of pointless if you're going to allow Google links (and screenshots). What makes these games fun is searching your photo archive for relevant stuff, and seeing other people's photos. I would say throw out the Google links for the purposes of determining which numbers are used.

Some of us don't get out enough to take photos, but have been there anyway. I know I, for one, don't like cameras, preferring to use my photographic memory.
If you want to start a new thread, that's fine, but I doubt it'd get as far as we have already.
Call me Kenny/Kenneth. No, seriously.

How about someone else's photos?  Like if I found a photo on Steve's site, or on AARoads, perhaps by using a Google Images search?  What if a photo is found on some random non-roadgeeky website?
Wait, it's all Ohio? Always has been.

I'd find a game like this more interesting if GMSV and similar types of images were not allowed.  When reading through the thread, I'm likely to take a look at the inline images but not likely to click on a GMSV link.  That said, I wouldn't be especially interested in re-doing this same game with that restriction.  Maybe the next time someone starts us off on something like this, they would want to specify such a rule.  Maybe we could do something where you had to repeat a number from the previous entry but also have some new number in the same picture, and see how many numbers we could cover.  And to address vtk's questions - I think it would be fine to post someone else's images as long as they don't mind.
Photos I post are my own unless otherwise noted.

Exactly.
There should also be a rule about people posting in a row...

I think that the game would be more interesting if you post a new number alone with another new number. No repeat numbers as well, so if your new number is lets say 18 and you have a picture of a sign of it with a route called 6 that was posted already, it would not count.  However, if the route number 18 is posted with 104 that was not posted yet, then okay!

GSV, should have a cap on how many you can post altoghether.  Maybe make it two posts only with Google images or something.

Just an idea as this game is interesting and it allows all of us to see every number used on all different designations and allows us to check our archives as well to see what we have.

I don't think I'm allowed to notice this, but what you just wrote was somewhat incomprehensible.

in the example given, why is 18 "your new number" and 104 not?  what makes 18 have a special flag attached to it?

Would it be better if 104 is the new number and 18 not?

Yes. I used to think it was complicated to post photos, so I rarely did it. But once you do it a few times, it's not hard at all.

Just upload to imgur.com or another hosting site, and copy/paste the link between img tags. Boom.

at least 2 different route numbers

I can't tell what's in the background, but if it's a number other than 807 that's not in the used list, I'll count it.
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

This view is a bit weird, but here's OH 561 and 562, underlined in green.
