Back at my previous home in the Kansas City area: I-35 (~1 mile), I-635 (~2 miles), then I-435 (~4 miles).
When I lived on Long Island, the closest was I-495 (because Exits 64 and 65 were in my town), I-95 (across the Long Island Sound in Bridgeport, CT) and I-295 (Clearview Expressway in Queens). So the second and third closest were pretty far out of reach for me.

The three closest Interstates to me are I-69, I-24, and I think I-40 by a hair over I-57.

The Ghostbuster

Here in Madison, there are only three Interstates that come into the area. Interstates 39/90/94 head northwest to Portage, Interstate 94 heads east to Milwaukee, and Interstates 39/90 head south through Janesville and Beloit en route to Rockford.

I-55

Since I'm in college, I can also say: I-65, I-74, I-865 (can you guess my school?)

Near me lies, 95 and 78. They are rather close with 95 (I think) being the farthest from me. Oh and I-287, can't forget that one.

In the North Bay.. I-580, I-80, I-780.

None of them are very close though - I'm about 30 minutes from 580

I-4 is 5 miles away.
I-75 is 23 miles away.
I-275 is 33 away.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

I-85
I-65
I-20 is closer but I can get to I-285 a good bit quicker.

My guess was going to be Purdue, which would get the order right (assuming that was intentional).

It's overwhelmingly likely to be Purdue.

Growing up, I was about 2 miles from I-80 & 94, about 4 miles from I-90, and about 6 miles from I-65. Tack on another 10 or so, and I'd hit I-294.

Right now? I'm 2 miles off of I-20, about 3 miles off of I-285, and about a dozen miles from I-75 & 85.

Now that I think about it, I-91 might've been closer to my former hometown than I-295. But at least I-295 doesn't require spending a ton of money to cross the Port Jefferson-Bridgeport Ferry.

I-95: about 0.4 miles away
I-90: about 4.5 miles away
I-93: about 6.6 miles away

I'm getting no solutions. (The only places where I-95 and I-93 are within 7 miles are too far from I-90.)
Needham, MA.

I completely forgot about the part of I-93 south of Exit 7. I already knew you lived in Needham.

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

It is Purdue, and yes, the order was intentional.

1. I-5
2. I-405
3. I-90

This could apply to a good chunk of the Seattle metro area. As the crow flies, I'm about the same distance from the nearest foreign freeway (BC 99) as I am from a fourth Interstate (I-705).

I don't have the time to figure it out exactly even if I did want to, but I have several friends that live right in the Needham/Dedham area. It is a small world that seems to keep getting smaller!
