Speed limit of 75 on Iowa's Interstates?

I definitely feel like this is something that should be coming sometime in the future.  I also wouldn't mind seeing their 2 lane US and state highways with a 60 mph or 65 mph speed limit.  With them at 55 mph like they are now, it just seems really low seeing how it's the same speed posted on 2 lane roads in the Northeast and other east coast states, which have much higher traffic volume and lower visibility, as well as many more hills and curves than Iowa's roads do.

Does anyone who lives in Iowa know if there has been any talk of upping the speed limits in the Hawkeye State?  If so, how is it coming along?

A shame.  Iowa's interstates are definitely up to having 75 mph.  So are Illinois's for that matter, but...

I think that rural interstates in Iowa - and practically any other state - could legitimately have a speed limit of 75, 80, or 85mi/h - or maybe even NO speed limit.
A large warning sign at each freeway entrance, toll road entry, and one quarter of a mile past each might have a red bar at the top with white letters reading WARNING
then the rest is black on white or white on black reading NO SPEED LIMIT NEXT (##) MILES
and then a contrasting set of text at the bottom advising of the MINIMUM SPEED LIMIT (##) MI/H.
