04:05:06 07/08/09 <-- who will be waking up at this precious moment? :P A rare occurence!
or if you would prefer to be awake: 12:34:56 07/08/09 :sombrero:
Too early for me! :spin:
I remember 12:34:56 7/8/90. there will never be anything like it ever again. for 81 years.
then again, I even more distinctly remember 1:23:45 6/7/89, because that was at the end of the school season, and the teacher made a point of it.
I remember 20:02 20-02 2002
(In Europe, the day comes before the month in the notation)

I'm used to the U.S. format having used it all my life. However, the European notation (day-month-year) is more logical as it goes from smallest to largest unit where our month-day-year does not.
I tend to date my files in format YYYYMMDD, which makes sorting on a computer the simplest. Fortunately, the people I work with are smart enough to be able to parse that!

For computer files, I do that, too. It's quite nice for photo files.
Though, even at work, I'm often the only one that looks at them! :banghead:
 What happened?
It's a secret :P
I use that date format too, Jake. Although I put dashes in it: 1991-08-09. That's actually an ISO standard date format (I want to say ISO 8601?). When I got promoted to manager at work they had a hell of a time figuring out what my deposit slips meant at first :spin:
Here in OK there was a kid born at 12:34 on that date, so they went ahead and "estimated" the seconds and put the timestamp down on the birth certificate as 12:34:56 07/08/09. (Most birth certificates don't include the seconds.)
^^ I write in that format, too. I usually write, for example, 20-Jul-09 or 20-Jul-2009.
Be well,
Bryant

That's twice the party!
This moment passed this morning in the non-US notation:
07/08/09 10:11:12
LOOK what you've done, I'm BACKWARDS! </C3PO to Chewie> :-D
I was due to be born on 07/07/77 but I arrived two days late.
I remember being rather pleased about turning 12 on 02-02-02.
