I have plenty of fictional threads which is about the new freeways.
A compilation of Tolbs in one thread would work. Just a warning though, it could reduce the number of people responding to you, but it's still probably better than clogging up the forum.

In the Fictional Highways board? Are you sure signs and markings can go there?
Or you could create one thread in fictional and another thread in another board.
Brings up another question. We've all seen threads on regular boards that get locked/ no responses/ that get moved into the Fictional board. Has there ever been a thread started in Fictional that the moderators closed and moved to one of the other boards? I could foresee a Fictional thread possibly straying into Off-Topic, but I couldn't imagine a Fictional thread straying into one of the regional boards.

It seems to me that the solution to this problem is no solution at all. Post whatever subjects you feel are necessary; either in an existing thread or create one if you think it's needed. If you're drawing signs, there's a Road-Related Illustrations board. If you're coming up with wacky proposals, there's Fictional. And if you're discussing existing roads or signage, there are all kinds of appropriate boards.

FWIW I do participate in a chat with many of the forum members on Facebook. It was never easy to converse on the AAroads chat room unless I’m on an actual computer. On Facebook it is much simpler interface to use on the go. I think most of the mainstays have moved onto chat groups of the like on a more regular basis.
