I took this picture on film. It looks very blotchy because I was using light through paper as a light source.

And here is the inverted photo, it looks actually kind of neat like this. I’ve been told it could be a painting or a postage stamp:

Finally, here is the same picture, but taken on my phone:

Good to see that someone's still using film!

I'm tempted to try a roll on one of my old cameras, but I'm not sure if I can go back to paying for photos...

I'm only partially-completed with last year's photos (I've still only uploaded 66-70% of all my photos at any given time), but here's a dozen of my favorites taken in 2021:

Bankhead Tunnel in Mobile:

Hadley Murrow Bridge on I-90 in Seattle:

Foggy morning near Gainesville, Alabama:

One of too many to choose from on I-70 in Glenwood Canyon:

Colorado 82, from an overlook near Independence Pass:

Suffering from industritis? Driving through a petroleum refinery on Louisiana 627:

US 6 / 189 in Spanish Fork, Utah:

TN 129 near Petersburg, Tennessee:

California 45 with the Sutter Buttes in the distance:

Spring wildflowers in the median of US 19, north of Spring Hill, Florida:

Sunshine Skyway Bridge on I-275:

Sagamore Avenue in Lafayette, Indiana at night:

To make it a baker's dozen, here's one from the air - Jonesboro Road at I-75 south of Atlanta:

Hadley Bridge on I-90 in Seattle:

Not to nitpick, but that's on the Murrow bridge. The Hadley bridge is the other direction with the westbound and former reversible lanes.

Thanks, that's good to know!

I like to get the captions right, but that was an unusual case where one direction has a different name than the other direction, and I didn't spend enough time researching which one was which...after all, they're totally different bridges constructed at different points in time.

Since the Murrow did get mostly destroyed in 1990, the two bridges are actually close in age, "opening" a mere 4 years apart.

Not to be overly technical, but it was just the midspan that was destroyed in the 1990 flood, with the west and east approaches still being original.

From this past week in Southern New Mexico.  Dust storm and direct sunlight was a challenge - but it allowed me to mess around with some post-processing and these two really stuck out to me.

It's a deefly.

I put this up for a bit of a laugh, but it's actually kind of an interesting photo because of it.

^ Yeah, it's looking easterly along the 401 from a rock cut just east of the Montreal Street interchange.  It's a location that I've shot quite a number of times over the years.
