Oh God. The pooing is cool guy...

OK, set me straight here.  I thought |NE2| started the 'pooing is cool' thing.  Am I wrong about that?

On MTR, its was that Tim dude from Cincinnati.

That Tim dude is on the forum, as well, you know...

Yeah, I recall seeing him a couple of times. He's less ubiquitous here.

Somehow I don't know who it is, and it seems like I'm the only one who doesn't know. I've always thought it to be the user currently on the Kentucky side of the state line, but I might be wrong.

Does this help?

I've always heard the mtr user as Tom from Ohio, though. Tim isn't Tom, and Kentucky isn't Ohio.

No you are correct. Greater Cincy, but on the Kentucky side.

So are Tim Brown and Tom from Ohio the same person or not?

I don't know the answer to that, but I doubt it.  I was never on m/t/r.  A couple of people on here do know, however.

For what it's worth, Daniel Moraseski "outed himself" on here as TFO, but I lean toward not believing him.

I know who Tom from Ohio is, but will not reveal it (other than that he is also a long-time member you will know).

Wow...  so...  it's been interesting digging through old m.t.r. threads.  I wasn't around during the m.t.r. days, so maybe I'm the only one who didn't know this:  NE2 went to MIT?

Seems legit.  I'm seeing both defunct and restricted links to webpages with his name on the mit.edu site, the New York Times citing him as a student at MIT, etc.

I hate that Google had to put those square ads on maps. I get that it's Google and they thrive off of ads, but some places I can't even write reviews on if there's an ad on them. Like I tried to write a review on a local Wendy's but it had an ad on the site with no option to review it because of said ad.

You mean no one's recaptured this part of K-27 since 08. 16 years and no drive by. Come on.

With Google based in California that probably makes more sense for something dumb like that to happen.

You know there are still state highways in other places with zero coverage, including 2008 coverage, yeah? I've been on that stretch you've linked to. There aren't many cars period, much less GSV cars.

I hate the new blue.  Mob-rule still uses the old colors with the old zoom levels for labels.  The old way is much easier to read.

I was going to say the same about US 50 and US 219 in western Maryland (in a tourist area, while not heavily populated) as for a long time they only had imagery from 2008. I just checked and they finally went back in 2022 and 2023. Nonetheless, 14 years between GSV drive-throughs isn't very forgivable if you ask me.
