I'm going to argue for a different location...the original Second Creek Rd crossing of Second Creek (a little south of current crossing).
The 1914 topo already shows no curve in the road at the Platte river Crossing.
Note that this post card company identified Platte River when a structure was on/over the Platte River -

If you look at the 1970 historic aerial, the westbound approach looks very similar to the post card including the 3 large trees on the left (1960 view is in winter).
