There's nothing wrong with it.
It's never been a hellacious holiday for me, whether I was single or in a relationship. The second Valentine's Day I celebrated with my wife, we both ended up having to work later than we'd planned, and then she left her car's headlights on and had to wait for someone to jumpstart it, so we ended up having dinner at the IHOP across the street from our apartment at 9 pm. That took the pressure off future Valentine's Days.
Tonight we'll go to a screening of The Princess Bride at the Music Box while my parents babysit. I'm hoping there's a concert by the organist before the show. I bought her flowers and they were delivered to her office yesterday. Really not a big deal at all.
St. Valentine is also the patron saint of epilepsy. So I have to confess I'm in love with a purple T-shirt I have :sombrero:.
AKA the holiday when we remember a beheading at the hands of the Romans by buying pretty decorations and eating fancy food.

15 is pretty young to be this jaded about V-Day, though.
I could see it, with all the depression memes about these days. Even when I was in high school I remember some anti-Valentines sentiment from other students.

Well she could have specified "day of the week," lots of people use "day" and "date" interchangeably. That's the whole joke behind the stupid question "what day do we celebrate the 4th of July?" (meant to be similar to "Who is buried in Grant's Tomb?")

I never actually had one of those in high school and to tell you the truth I ended going for online dating back in early 2013 in my senior year of high school.
