I-495, NY.  Only been on it a couple of times and only been out to the end once.

Never been on I-41/94 south of the Milwaukee airport. Also never been on I-43 between Beloit and I-894. And I would be hard pressed to find a real reason to drive either of those.

I-90, I-579 and I-279 in Pennsylvania -- opposite side of the state from me.  I have been on the others, but just not clinched them all.
Opinions here attributed to me are mine alone and do not reflect those of my employer or the agencies for which I am contracted to do work.

Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Never had call to drive any of I-30 from Texarkana, AR to Benton, AR, nor I-55 north of Turrell, AR.

I-395, except for the portion concurrent with CT 2A (to go to Mohegan or Foxwoods).  I think I've driven the portion north of SR 695 exactly once.
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

I have clinched the entire Interstate system in Maryland.

That said, the segments I have been on the least:

I-70 between I-695 and the Park-n-Ride (or has that been decommisioned?)  Once.
I-270 Spur between I-270 and I-495.  Once or twice.
I-395 into Baltimore (both forks).  Probably five or less.

Everything else, more often than I can count.

hbelkins

I-24 between the Tennessee state line and the WK Parkway (I-69), and also from US 60 to the Ohio River bridge. Also, I-71 between KY 227 and US 127, and I-264 between US 31W/60 and I-64 near the Sherman Minton Bridge.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I-40 in its entirety between Barstow and Needles.  That followed by I-8 east of El Centro and I-10 east of Route 86.  Interestingly, another one I also can't say I've been on is I-605 between I-10 and I-210.

I've driven every single mile of Bay Area interstate and all of I-80 in California, and I've been down (as a passenger mostly) all of I-15/Route 15 and I-5.  For the LA auxiliary interstates, I've been down all of 210 except for the section that is now 57, all of 405, all of 110, all of 710, and all of 105.

Up north, I've clinched most of 505 but my family and I may have gone up the north portion when I was 1 year old (on a trip to Portland and Vancouver).

I've been on I-705 in Tacoma twice in my life.
I've been on I-5 North of Bellis Fair Mall about 5 (usually take one of the State Routes to Langley/Surrey or Abbotsford, rather than Vancouver Proper.
Aside from I-5/405 around Seattle, everything else in the state is about equally traveled.
They said take a left at the fork in the road.  I didn't think they literally meant a fork, until plain as day, there was a fork sticking out of the road at a junction.

I only recently moved to SoCal from the Midwest and haven't been in No Cal since 1982. I'm pretty sure I've never been on I-505 or I-780 and I don't remember being I-980 either. (I may have to drive it soon if some OCD urbanists have their way.) I'm fairly sure I have yet to be on I-805 in San Diego. I'd have included 905, but it's a state highway. California is a big state, so I'm sure there are many places I'll never see.

gonealookin

Being in Northern Nevada I rarely have much reason to be on I-15 outside of the immediate Las Vegas area.  My least traveled part of I-15 would be from US 93 to the Arizona border.

Of the three states I've lived in:

Louisiana: I have driven every mile of interstate in Louisiana including future interstate 49 between Lafayette and New Orleans

Mississippi: I have never driven on the new Interstate 69, interstate 269, or interstate 22

Texas:
I'll list in order of how often I've driven it:
1. Interstate 10
2. Interstate 45
3. Interstate 610
4. interstate 69
5. Interstate 35
6. Interstate 37
7. Interstate 30
8. Interstate 410
9. Interstate 635

I've never been on the following:
1. Interstate 820
2. Interstate 40
3. Interstate 44
4. Interstate 27
5.interstate 2
6. Interstate 169
7. Interstate 69 W/C
8. Interstate 49
I love freeways and roads in any state but Texas will always be first in my heart

bassoon1986

My sections of undriven interstate in Louisiana:
I-59
Southern half of I-510

Past that I think I've only driven these once:
-I-10 from New Orleans East to 12/59
-I-10 between roughly Scott and Iowa

And these twice (there and backs)
-I-55 from Ponchatoula south to I-10
-I-510 from I-10 to first exit

Instead of a list, here is a map of all interstates in Illinois that I have not driven on. As you can see, it's not particularly impressive:

Interstates clinched: 4, 57, 275 (IN-KY-OH), 465 (IN), 640 (TN), 985
State Interstates clinched: I-26 (TN), I-75 (GA), I-75 (KY), I-75 (TN), I-81 (WV), I-95 (NH)

No, I'm from Chicago, but I live in Tennessee, at least most of the time. Others have expressed confusion before as well, as seen below, but I'm still reluctant to change my location.

I had all of Iowa's interstates clinched before I ever lived here. That said, I was only on I-74 in the Quad Cities once. I have never driven I-380 between US 20 and downtown Cedar Rapids, but I was a passenger 3 times.

Every segment of Interstate in NC I haven't been on:

In list form:

  • I-40 from Statesville to its junction with I-85 in Greensboro and from Raleigh to Wilmington
  • I-73, any part of it
  • I-540, any part of it
  • I-440, any part of it
  • I-140 from Malmo to Kirkland
  • I-295, any part of it
  • I-95 Business, any part of it
  • I-85 Business, from JCT with US 64 in Lexington to JCT with I-85 in Greensboro, and then from its JCT with Holden Rd to its northern terminus
  • I-485 from exit 16 to exit 10
  • I-840's western segment (Doing this made me realize that since that section's opening, I can't qualify as having clinched 840 anymore and I should remove that from my signature)
  • I-87, any part of it
  • I-95, any part of it (my clinched counties on its path come from an Amtrak train)
  • I-240, from Patton Ave to its eastern terminus
I love my 2010 Ford Explorer.

Counties traveled

I-55

 - ITR anywhere other than South Bend
- I-65 North of Lebanon and South of Merrillville (excluding Lafayette)
- I-70 East of Indy
- I-64 West of IN-64
- I-94 between IN-49 and Michigan (except between US-20 and US-421)
- I-74 between Crawfordsville and I-465

For Illinois, I have never traveled on I-172 nor I-180.

Haven't been on I-72 west of Springfield nor I-74 between Peoria and the I-80 bump

And for the close to home segment, I haven't been on I-255 between I-270 and I-55/70, and also between IL 15 and the Mississippi River

Pretty sure I have every other segment covered in the state

JCinSummerfield

In Michigan, I've clinched just about every mile of interstate, save for I-94 east (north) of Mt. Clemens, and almost all of I-69.

mgk920

I've done all of the I-routes here in Wisconsin, but the one that I have done the least is I-535.  Second least is likely I-94 between WI 21 and US 10 and/or I-90/94 between the Tomah interchange and the I-39 Cascade interchange.
