Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

This is one of those where you knew it was Florida just from the thread title.

"West Melbourne" told me where the store is, too. Bad location for a big fire that would shut down the main drag into and out of Melbourne from the west.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

There have been two car-building crashes in Massachusetts recently. The earlier one was a Stop & Shop in Swampscott, and the later one, which had at least one death, was an Apple Store in Hingham. That particular Apple Store has not reopened yet.

Now that I'm typing this: foreshadowing? Both businesses are more upscale brands that have competitors (although Swampscott is not firmly in Market Basket territory unlike 15 miles to the north), and the two towns are on the coast, with Swampcott on the North Shore and Hingham on the South Shore.

I'm glad the woman in the truck is OK; can't say the same thing about the man in the SUV who caused a big explosion once he crashed inside the store.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

That SUV is in deep trouble, too!

The fireworks going off in the blaze is like a man with a gun firing all around.

Did you hear they're making another movie, with Liam Neeson playing Drebin?
