QuoteAn iconic Butte County bridge that connected Chico to Paradise was destroyed in the Camp Fire. It is thought to be the last surviving structure – a three-span Pratt-style truss bridge – of its kind in the United States.
The Honey Run Covered Bridge was built in 1886 as a crossing for Butte Creek. In 1988, the structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
This is the Camp Fire which has basically destroyed the town of Paradise - at this writing over 6,000 homes have been lost.

Might be able to salvage some parts of that bridge for a monument or a possible rebuild, shame to see it burn along with the town.
