Every day from this past Sunday through at least next Tuesday carries some chance of rain. This is extremely irritating as I need to do some masonry work and need dry weather to allow the mortar to cure.

Every day in the next coming week will be at least 75 degrees. It's official summer (rip spring).

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

(there are varying definitions of when summer starts, but this isn't one of them)

It still wouldn't be summer a month ahead.

Here, high of 82 today and supposed to be nice for the rest of the week and weekend.  All of the recent rain has made everything nice and green here though.

Oh, yes it would.  He was talking about the forecast, and summer officially begins one month plus one day after his post.

Tahoe usually gets at least one May snowstorm and May 20-21 looks to be it for 2021.  I have about 1/2 inch so far on the deck and radar shows more on the way, with the sun going down and temp dropping.  There will probably be chain requirements over some of the local passes overnight.

And now, as soon as the rain stopped, I'm under the gun from Invest 91L, which has a 60% chance of forming within the next 2 days. It will bring some more rain to the area.

Right now it's about 80 degrees and partly cloudy.

Leaving work early to mow the lawn, or else I'll have a jungle.  When I asked my boss if it was OK, she said, "Oh, yeah, I actually have to do the same thing."

Looking out the front door with the sun trying to come out.  Most of that has fallen during the day today.  Usually in May, any significant accumulation would come at night and it would melt during the day, but with daytime temperature right around 32°F all day it has just kept piling up.  It's a routine mild snowfall in the winter, but impressive for this time of year.

Looks like it will be that way on Wednesday as well.

The high today was around 79 or so, with intermittent rain. It'll finally go away by early Tuesday.

Still hasn't hit 90 degrees yet this year in my hometown, and no 90 degree days are in the 10-day forecast. Fairly unusual.

Been raining on and off all day. I was being particularly stubborn and went out to Blanchard to do some masonry work and only got 2/3 of the way done before it started raining too hard to continue.

Just had a downpour here with some thunder.

I'm in a flat-roofed building, so it was tremendously loud; impossible not to notice, even with no view out the window! If you've ever been in a grocery store or similar building during heavy rain, you'll probably know what I mean.

The rain is finally over after 2 weeks and 8 inches of periodic rain. The next week looks pretty dry, but I'll bet the mosquitoes will be an absolute menace, even more than they were a couple of weeks ago when it rained.

92 and sunny.
Woah. Boston has its first 90 degree day of the year before my Houston suburb did (I know Houston proper hit 90 about a month ago)? Wow. Today's high is 85, and it will stay about that for the next 2 weeks. Still no 90 degree days in the forecast.
