It was 76F apparently in Tampa today, the overnight low is supposed to be 50-55F.

7:41 PM, we came into the kitchen after having dinner in the dining room and look who was waiting.... (lousy focus due to poor lighting and water on the window)

hahaha the snow won't stop falling! I thought it would have stopped by now.

I just got an e-mail saying the office is closed tomorrow. Glad it came now so I can sleep late instead of getting up early, finding it's closed, and then not being able to fall back asleep.

Dropped from 55 at 4 to 40 at 5:15, otherwise still boring and uneventful.

Is that in inches or cm or what? I hope not the former, otherwise "some" is an understatement!

I went to the website, but can't figure out how to go out 240 hours.

You know, that's a good question. The fellow from whom I got that did not say. Centimetres would make a lot more sense, wouldn't they?!!!!!

Channel 4 weather is on as I type this and they note the prospect of a storm next weekend but they seem to think rain seems more likely, followed by single-digit temperatures overnight Sunday into Monday with high temperatures around 20° on Monday.

One of the forecasts around here called for 8-12 inches one day and 5-8 the next, so those may well be inches.  That said, the local meteorologist said it's too early to declare snowfall totals, so we'll see.

I woke up this morning to find the tops of cars in the parking deck outside my window coated in white, which was a mild surprise since there was no precipitation in the forecast. Nothing sticking to the ground, though, and it's all melted now. Sunny and 38 now after a morning low of 29, headed for the mid-50s.

Cherry Blossoms are already starting to bloom in certain places and grass is growing. Winter isn't just over, it didn't come.

Now that I said that, watch my luck bring a snowstorm.

Expecting a heavy snow over the weekend, with lake effect as well. 4-8 inches with the system, possibly another 3-5 wherever that band sets up.

Staying inside all weekend and gaming, while occasionally measuring for the NWS reports

Awaiting 12+ inches of snow

How about 12, and calling it good?

(best album name of all time, btw)

Hurricane Rex

Too much rain, at least an inch, VISIBILITY WAS NEAR 0 ON THE INTERSTATE, and I-5 was partially flooded near Woodburn. 2 1 inch days in a row.

Temporarily back in Sherwood.

28 and under a Winter Storm Warning for the first time in a year or two. Snow started falling less than an hour ago, and 4-8" is expected.

31 and partly cloudy right now, but snow is supposed to come this night.

35 and cloudy.  Major storm on the way, but surprisingly, only a Winter Weather Advisory in my parts.  3-5" of snow, but a lot of ice and a flash freeze behind it.  Temps may not even make double digits on Monday.
