Upcoming Ontario Trip (Toronto, perhaps Barrie, Owen Sound, etc.)

I am planning to make a trip to Toronto this weekend, as a way to catch a Toronto Blue Jays game (I'm sure it must be less painful than watching my New York Mets play this season).  The game is on Saturday, and then I am staying at a hotel in downtown Toronto, and then I will have Sunday to do some exploring and roadgeeking in Ontario before I have to head back to Binghamton, NY.  So I am writing to look for some ideas, some interesting things I can see along the way, etc.

From my 2004 and 2007 trips to Toronto, I've been on most of the major 400-series highways south of the King's Highway 401, and including the 401 itself.  I've also been on the Gardiner Expressway, Don Valley Parkway and Allen Road.  So I am looking at some other roads, highway stubs, neat, interesting or old signs, etc. that I can find around Toronto, and I plan to spend some time just looking around.

Then, time permitting, I am looking to head up to Barrie on the King's Highway 400, then King's Highway 26 over to Owen Sound, then south on King's Highway 6 or King's Highway 10 as I work my way back towards Hamilton, and eventually to the familiar QEW and back to New York State (unless making my way to King's Highway 3 may be more interesting).  Any comments or suggestions for any part of the proposed route would be greatly appreciated.
