US Route 4 with a little bit of US Route 5, back on July 13, 2016. This was in the White River Junction section of Hartford, VT.

Waterloo RR 4 at RR 70 (Trussler Rd) on the west side of Kitchener. I took the photo on Thursday.

EDIT August 15th: I forgot I also have this photo from the 401 of Peel RR 4 (Dixie Rd).

Difficult trying to photograph a sign in Washington State in March, because your lighting will invariably suck heheh:

OP added a rule that every 24 hours the next number would be open.  So basically 9 AM eastern time everyday or 12 hours from last numbered post.

Not exactly.

5. We will advance the current number no less than every 24 hours. For example, we will advance to 2 no less than 24 hours after we start 1.

The person who started 4 jumped the gun by a wide margin. I'm setting the clock for #4 at Today at 08:54:48 AM. The one with 5 has a 4 in it so it counts for 4. 5 will become active no earlier than tomorrow at 08:54:48 AM.

(Sorry for the delay in response. Dealing with the effects of flooding in southeast Louisiana.)

The trick is to over-expose by +1/3 to +2/3 or increase the ISO value if the sign is in the shade.

Actually that's exactly what I do!  By +2/3.  I did it with this picture too, I'm pretty sure.

Wasn't the original post at 9:09 AM on 8/11/16?  So basically that would be 2 at 9:09 AM 8/12/16, 3 at 9:09 AM 8/13/16 and 9:09 AM today for 4 given it is 8/14/16?....isn't that just basically a 15 minute gap or were you counting from the first 1 post?   Why not just make the counter an even 9 AM eastern time?

Sucks to hear about the flooding, got tired of that all the years I was living in Florida.

The first posts for each number were at these times:

1: 8-11 9:09am
2: 8-12 9:24am
3: 8-13 10:47pm
4: 8-14 08:54:48 AM (error, override)

It's easier to just go back one day and see what the current number is than to fix a time and try to count the number of days since that time. Not a big deal to me, since I'm keeping track of it.

#5 comes into play no earlier than 8:54:48am tomorrow, starting with the first picture of a 5 after that time.

Can we please stop nitpicking details and roll out a simple palatable solution that helps people?  Just call it an even time like 9am or midnight or something easy

Never mind my previous post.  I think I get how this works now.  Since it's after 8:54am I think I can start my 5's now.

Here's a photo of RR 6 at the Kitchener-Wilmot border, taken on Thursday.

I should have my own photo of ON 6, considering I've used it hundreds of times, but I don't. Maybe I'll take one this week.

EDIT 5:35 pm: I decided to drive to Guelph to get a photo :)
