Lowest-Numbered Exit You Haven't Taken

I know this one's pretty niche, but I got to thinking about it when looking at the "Longest Stretch of Exits" thread and the "Exit Number Ranges for Different Cities" thread.

Through quickly running through the Wiki pages for Colorado highways (which knocked off a bunch for me) and then using iexitapp.com to fairly quickly look through other states, I was able to determine that the lowest exit number I haven't taken (or been on the on-ramp for) is 134. The second lowest is 315. For the record, my highest exit number is 775 on I-10 in TX.

There is an Exit 134 on I-76 here in Colorado, but it's just a county road near Iliff, CO that I haven't had any need to take. Next time I'm up that way...

EDIT - I forgot to check I-69 in TX and realized Exit 134 is the exit to the northside of I-610, which I have taken.

Showing my work a little bit, with just one exit listed for each number...

Exits that have been renumbered make this complicated.

And dang, somebody's in the doghouse with the missus to have this kind of time. :D

Using current exit numbers, it appears to be 44 if you count on-ramps and 19 if you exclude them. (I've been on a 44 many times in sequential times.)

I know there are some Exit 0's around. I haven't taken any of them. So for me, it's Exit 0.

WillWeaverRVA

Oddly enough, I don't think I've ever taken an exit 3.

I think I've taken Exit 0 on I-270(CO), I-40(TX), I-172, I-184, former I-164, and I-65 (AL).

Despite having been on many sixes and eights, I don't think I've ever been on an exit 7 (I've never been to the Northeast).

Taking a whole lot of photos helps me answer this.

Exit 111...(I-75 for Immokalee Road)

120+ ? ...I'll figure this out tomorrow.

Excluding 0:

Exit 1: I-295 DC
Exit 2: None. This is my lowest (non-0).
Exit 3: I-26 NC
Exit 4: I-26* NC (I-240)
Exit 5: I-395 DC

I might do a re-check tomorrow when I have more time.

Jayhawk claims there's an Exit 87 in Michigan on I-96.  There is not.

Found this out trying to find one myself that I've been through and said, "Screw it. Which one did Jayhawk use?"

Shame, shame, shame.

And for others that might want to figure these out, in general, there's probably a pretty good chance if the state I have listed is outside of Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, or Florida (places I've lived and spent a good amount of time), that it's an interstate junction.

Quote from: WillWeaverRVA on May 29, 2024, 02:48:19 PMOddly enough, I don't think I've ever taken an exit 3.

As in not even I-295 at US 460 near Petersburg, VA?

Nope, I've never used that exit.

Also the VA 281 Exit from VA 895 is Exit 3 if you have used that.

Aw crap, I forgot about that one. Well, then, back to the drawing board.

I hate that THAT Exit 3 is the only numbered exit on VA 895.

I am not convinced that I have taken I-95 Exit 86 in VA so that is much more embarrassing IMO.

As I'm not all that familiar with that stretch (I have driven it), why would that be embarrassing?

Basically I have been through there who knows how many times in my lifetime.
