Has there been any word about when Phase 3 of the JoCo Gateway and/or the K-10 widening project from 435 to K-7 might get underway? I know Rep. Davids was trying to get federal funding last year, and Gov. Kelly said the K-10 widening would be added to IKE, but I haven't heard anything about them recently.

This is the first time I've heard of Microsurfacing.  A Google search reveals that it's similar to slurry sealing, which is a term I hadn't heard of before this year either.

While they're at it, I really wish Johnson and Wyandotte Counties could agree on a name that doesn't end in "Street," since numbered "streets" are north-south in Wyandotte County and east-west in Johnson County.  They really should just agree to call it 47th Avenue or County Line Road.  I don't care which as long as they're consistent about it.

It's simple–the north half of the street is County Line Road and the southern half of the street is 47th Street.

I tend to just call it County Line Road because Johnson County can suck an egg.
