NIT requires a winning record so Syracuse is not eligible.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

Bring on New Mexico State!!!

At least UConn has a trip down the Thruway for its sub-regional.  Also, Nova has the SEPTA Championship (or is it the DelCo vs State of) vs Delaware in Pittsburgh.
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

It's not university vs. university, it's emoticon vs. emoticon.
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

The University of Vermont Catamounts are in the tournament. Good luck to them.

Texas A&M snubbed?
They were a bubble team - ESPN thought they were on the last 4 in but they turned into the first 4 out. Michigan made it just above the bubble and Indiana made it inside, a switch from what ESPN predicted. All in all, as much as people think A&M were snubbed, this year really didn't have any gross misadmissions. The #65-72 teams all seem about right for those positions.

Seton Hall in the women's NIT final! At least some team I follow is in SOME sort of final.

Playoff time is here, and my Bulls are going to face the defending champion Bucks in the first round. While it's highly unlikely that Chicago pulls an upset, hopefully the I-94 series can go at least five or six games.

ORU men's basketball just won the regular season Summit League title in a nail-biting game last night, clinching an NIT berth in the worst case scenario. The crowd (and student section) at last night's game was insane. Undefeated so far at home and in conference. If they can pull out a win tomorrow night against NDSU (which won't be easy), they will have won all their games at home for the season. Crazy.

And tonight ORU dominantly won the Summit League Championship. What a year! 30-4 overall and 21-0 in conference. They might end up being a problem for a 5 seed next week.

"Retires" should be in quotes. It sounds more like he wasn't brought back.

Given his estate in Skaneateles, I don't feel sorry for him.

Nor do I; it just seemed, given his longevity, his exit is rather unceremonious.

Exciting day of college basketball yesterday. Sadly, 11-22 Lafayette and 12-22 Northern Arizona both lost their conference championship games. A shame, I wanted to see one of them in the tournament.
