Just thought I would add this!  :-D

I don't see any other threads about dead horses.

Want one?  UT 313 just happens to be one of my favorite Utah Highways.

Should Utah change its state 'nickname' to 'The Moron State'?

Well basically the deal with that place is that it was used as a natural horse corral above the Colorado River.  Basically at some point the corral became defunct and the fences were opened so the horses could, but they never did.  Essentially the horses on Dead Horse Point stayed in their corral until they died of starvation, so really more "Moron Horses."  Really UT 313 is a really cool place though, it edges the boundary of Canyonlands National Park in the Island of the Sky District along the way to Dead Horse.

Dead Horse State Park rivals national parks in terms of scenery:

BTW I also got a photo of UT 313 on the way back (bad conditions but I liked the result):

But sorry for the derail! So here is a thread you won't see here: "Bass lines of Led Zeppelin songs you can follow by driving along contiguous Wisconsin county routes" (first post: Heartbreaker -- routes A, C, D, D#, E, G)

The speed of light is c, not "E=MC²". E=mc² is just an equation that includes it as a constant.

There's probably someone here who's even kinkier but wouldn't go talking about it on a forum about roads.

Probably. I normally don't, but it's after 5 on a Friday, and alcohol makes me talk too much.

"Pencilvaynia" has to be up there for favorite typos  :-D

With the exception of "least favorite politician", those actually all seem like fairly likely threads.
Care to clarify the third one?

Not him but those are different types of voting systems… an equally unlikely thread.

The forum software polls support first past the post and approval, but no others. (I saw a poll on this forum once that included 50 options, one for each state plus DC. Imagine if you had to scroll past 720 listings just for each ordering of six options.)

And if you have to vote for a voting system...

"First past the post" etc. is a very likely thread not for this forum, but for SABRE, where officers are elected by single transferable vote with RON as a ghost candidate in each race.
