This strange photosphere in the middle of the ocean... Turn around and you'll see a person with no legs and two identical people.

It seems like this is taken using a cellphone and then stitched together (hence why there's two identical people, since the photos were not taken at the same time)

It isn't quite the middle of the ocean.  It's just off the northern coast of Cuba, and indeed that car has a Cuban license plate.

My guess it was pinned in the sea as to avoid Cuban law.

I don't know.  I don't follow Cuba law.  Just thought the reason for posting it where he did was to avoid some Cuban privacy law.

No traffic entering the US from the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

This is usually one of the busiest ports of entry to our nation from Canada.

Of course, but to actually see this captured is crazy. Covid or no Covid, it's a rare sight to be captured in the moment.

Driving too fast and probably looking at his phone.  I had one come through my toll lane yesterday packing at least 50 mph. I was glad he didn't loose control.

Welcome to Mnhattan. Mayor Miael R. Bloomberg.

So, just a bit of stitching humor?  actual sign

Also the fact that Google apparently thought the seal on the left was someone's face, based on how they blurred it out.

Being a roadgeek must be the worst when it comes to GSV because of the algorithm blurring stuff it shouldn't.

I find the old resolution (midway between current high resolution and the awful 2007/2008 imagery) was only so-so at correct blurring.

On the other hand, the current super-res or whatever is exceptionally good at correct blurring. The extra resolution clearly makes a big difference for the algorithm. I rarely see incorrect blurring. When I do see it, another click around and it's gone.

Good example: that "Welcome to Manhattan" sign has no blurring in current imagery, no matter how far away.

How about this?  Seems crazy to me, but I defer to the audience.
