Des Moines Iowa is in Polk County
Des Moines County is southeast and the home of Burlington.
Both are on the Des Moines river.
I first researched this when I saw a bunch of cars with DesMoines on their plates(Iowa has county on plates)that seemed out of place

There are a few more in Iowa.
Keokuk is in Lee County (Keokuk County is SC Iowa)
Wapello is in Louisa County (Wapello County is a few counties west of Louisa)
Marion is just outside of Cedar Rapids (Marion County is just outside of Des Moines)
I know there are more, I just don't remember them off the top of my head.
