Apparently US 64 got downgraded to a Tennessee secondary in Fayetteville, TN:

Ain't the only "TN 64" error in the city either. Amusingly, the actual TN 64 is just to the north in Shelbyville.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

That's been there for years.  Wonder how many times it's been highlighted in this thread.  Of course, we're not going to go through 28 pages to see. :D

I've searched and found Jim posted it in the UNO thread a few months back. But not here...Prove me wrong.

I just noticed this one today on US 97 southbound, before the junction with SR 14 and SR 14 Spur, where SR 14 briefly becomes concurrent with US 97: https://maps.app.goo.gl/neBrY3mrtxQagPGG7

For whatever reason, the sign was replaced a few years ago, as it used to be correct: https://maps.app.goo.gl/79wPSZvwqcVnpVgW9

Quote from: formulanone on August 22, 2024, 10:09:20 AMThe important thing was if you picked up the coveted Oscar's Number.

I was listening to the Brickyard 400 on the IMS Radio Network at this time so I do not think I thought about oscar this go around, but yes, I did drive OH 511 between OH 303 and US 20 east of here before coming through here via OH 58.

There's some construction happening on US 14/61 in western Wisconsin, and a number of the temporary signs use state highway shields for both of them. Here's an example in Viroqua:

(I didn't get a picture, but I also saw a construction sign in La Crosse that made the opposite mistake and brought US 16 back from the dead.)

Switch up just north of Blytheville (should be US 61)

I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

actually forgot to mention, five months later and this has since been fixed.

At this point, someone at Hopewell Public Works must be convinced that the VA shields are the incorrect shields. How else would this keep happening?:
